Galería Nina Menocal

The nina menocal gallery, established in 1990 in Mexico City  focuses on Contemporary language and new technology from Latin America; we also work with invited artists from all over the world. We believe in fresh proposals, especially those that don’t repeat themselves in the usual international forums. History 1990 – 2011: The gallery began by showing the first solo exhibitions, and produced the first catalogues for the Cuban artists of the 80´s and 90’s Generations such as Tomás Sánchez, José Bedia, Arturo Cuenca, René Francisco Rodríguez, Sandra Ramos, Angel Delgado among others. In 1991 the nina menocal gallery presented the work of legendary Cuban American Félix González Torres for the first time in Mexico. In the 90s the gallery presented the solo exhibitions of Mexican artists Carlos Amorales, Raymundo Sesma, Carlos Aguirre, Miguel Ventura and Argentinian artist Enrique Jezyk.
Today the gallery also coordinates projects for young curators, artists, design and architecture; the ninart-havana art tour (studio visits to Cuban artists in Havana, Cuba) and organizes collections and museum exhibitions.
